Strong delivery with an operating margin exceeding 8% in the second half year
In 2025, we reached a significant milestone by delivering
an operating margin exceeding 8 percent in the second half year, to be compared with a 5 percent operating margin level that persisted for more than a decade. This achievement reflects several years of disciplined strategic execution and strong performance.

A strong global reach and local presence
Securitas has operations in 44 markets globally and is organized in three business segments: Securitas North America, Securitas Europe and Securitas Ibero-America. The Group has also operations in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, which form the AMEA division. AMEA is together with the business unit Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services in North America included under the heading Other in the segment reporting.

We reached the operating margin target of 8 percent in the second half of 2025
The ambitious financial target set in 2022 was achieved in the second half of 2025, marking the highest operating margin in the company’s history so far and confirming that we have successfully delivered in line with our strategy.
We completed the strategic assessment program
Over the past several years, we have conducted a strategic evaluation of our business mix, which was completed in early 2026. These steps have significantly sharpened our long-term performance and competitive position.

In September we announced an ambitious sustainability strategy aimed at helping clients achieve their goals while creating measurable value for the business. Develop people
Through ongoing investment and a strong focus on our people, we’re building a skilled, motivated workforce – equipped with training, technology, and data – that strengthens service quality for clients and delivers sustainable value to the global community.
Key activities
- Complete global living wage benchmark by 2026.
- Set a global ambition for 2030 for upskilling frontline employees.
Decarbonize business
We’re reducing our carbon footprint and providing climate-conscious clients with emissions data on our products and services to advance their sustainability journey.
Key activities
- Launch a client-facing tool to calculate the carbon footprint of our security services.
- 39 percent of our operational fleer will be hybrid/EV by 2030.
Demonstrate integrity
As a trusted advisor for our clients, we act with integrity and expect the same from our partners, embedding ethical standards in everything we do and maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for any breaches of ethics or compliance.
Key activities
- All employees receive training in Securitas Values & Ethics Code.
- Strong compliance program covering ehtics, bribery and corruption, anti-trust and competition, conflict of interest, supplier risk management, SRM, data privacy.
